The square Kalamata tablecloth is reminiscent of the dining table at Charleston painted by my grandmother Vanessa Bell. I was once asked to make a fabric copy of it which prompted me to think how I would re-design it. This is far more detailed, incorporating a fruit bowl and four little dishes containing an artichoke, a pea, a prawn and 2 fishes. It is called Kalamata as the blue and white stripes echo the Greek flag - and also because I often visit there.
Suitable for either a square or a round table this table cloth is fantastic for outdoor dining. All designs are reproductions of my original hand painted artwork and bear my signature within the print.
