My Topiary table lamp comes in 2 colourways – this one pairs with the 10” Topiary Lampshade in yellow, green and purple. The colours are a wild variation from any sort of reality but the design is a depiction of box or privet balls clipped into a pleasingly symmetrical shape.
These unique lamp bases are designed to go with our selection of lampshades. They are made of turned elm and produced especially for us in Sussex. I paint each one by hand which means no two are ever the same – though perfection is my aim. They are all bear my painted signature near to the base.
After painting they receive a protective semi-matt varnish and are fitted with a brass switched bayonet cap lampholder and a classic linen-covered stripey cream & black flex.
