The Callisto design on this small hand painted paper empire lampshade is a product of some sketchbook doodling. It features my signature ovals and cross-hatching which are reminiscent of many of the designs I grew up with at Charleston. It's perfect for pairing with our Yellow Carousel Vase table lamp base.
Many lampshades are too wide to fit in a confined space, this tall and narrow size of shade however is an ideal fit for shelves and bedside tables.
Each shade is unique and has been individually handcrafted in the UK before being hand painted and signed by me in our London studio. Designed to be lit up, the contrasting green & blue rings and yellow crosshatches really pop up out of the cream background when you turn the light on, bringing a lovely, colourful warmth to the room.
