The Cream Stripey vase table lamp is an exercise in deceptive simplicity. The tapered black lines interspersed with spots are intended to look spontaneous – but are more difficult to paint than they look. The classic cream, blue and black colours match the Blue Paw Print lampshade.
These unique lamp bases are designed to go with our selection of lampshades. They are made of turned elm and produced especially for us in Sussex. I paint each one by hand which means no two are ever the same – though perfection is my aim. They are all bear my painted signature near to the base.
After painting they receive a protective semi-matt varnish and are fitted with a brass switched bayonet cap lampholder and a classic linen-covered stripey cream & black flex.
