This small hand painted paper coolie lampshade is covered in our signature Circles & Stripes pattern in yellows and oranges with golden dots on top and is perfect for pairing with our Yellow Gold Circles & Stripes Vase table lamp base. I am told that one similarity between my work and Vanessa Bell’s (my grandmother) is our mutual fondness for circles and stripes.
Each shade is unique and has been individually handcrafted in the UK before being hand painted and signed by me in our London studio. The grey background colour is a versatile option which is elevated by a golden trim. Designed to be lit up, the pigments in our paints pop when you turn the light on, bringing a lovely warmth to the room.
