My Flower Vase cushion was designed as a pair to the Woman & Mandolin cushion. Both are intended to have a Bloomsbury feel to them, but this one is purely imaginary. The image features a bunch of stylised flowers with a border of individual plants. I like to think that the vase would have been made by my father, Quentin Bell, who made many of the pots decorated by Duncan Grant and Vanessa Bell.
These cushion covers are first printed and then hand-painted, so no two will be exactly alike

Dimensions:
54cm x 54cm
Materials:
100% Linen
Care:
For longevity of the print we recommend hand-washing the cover inside out using a mild liquid detergent. Alternatively wash the cover using a gentle machine cycle at 30°C. Avoid using bleach, harsh chemicals or tumble dryers to prevent the hand-painted pigment from fading. Air dry the fabric flat without wringing or twisting it. Iron exclusively on the reverse while the linen is still slightly damp.
