Q. Can I order products in colourways other than those shown ?
A. Lamps and lampshades can generally be produced in the customer's preferred colourway for little or no charge, but fabrics in new colours would be treated as a one-off commission and would be subject to the prices and minumums shown in the Furnishing Fabrics section. Please email for details of prices and delivery times.
Q. Are you able to ship worldwide ?
A. Yes. Please email with details of what you would like to buy and we will give you a shipping price. Once you have placed your order a Paypal invoice will be raised, payable online.
Q. How long will delivery take ?
A. Many of our products are hand made to order so delivery could take up to two weeks. In general we try to ship within 5 days or less. If the order is time-critical please email to check if the item is in stock before making your order.
Q. How should I clean your products ?
A. We recommend that all hand-printed textiles are dry-cleaned. Lampshades may be dusted but should not be allowed to get wet as the colours are water-based. Lamps may be wiped clean or polished.
Q. How and where are the products produced ?
A. Most of the products on sale are designed and made in Cressida Bell's Hackney studio. All products are made in the UK.
Q. How do I redeem my gift voucher ?
A. To exchange your voucher for goods please peruse the online shop and then email with your choice. You will then be advised of availablity and shipping costs. For goods (including shipping) which exceed the value of the voucher an invoice will be issued, payable online via Paypal. No change is given on voucher value.
Q. How do I set up a trade account ?
A. Please email with your first order which should be for a minimum of 4 per colour per style (textiles) with a minimum order value of £100. You will be issued with a pro-forma invoice. For a credit account you will be asked for trade references and a mimumum spend of £250.
Q. Do you do tax refunds ?
A. No. We are not registered for HMRC's VAT Retail Export Scheme, so VAT is payable (included) in all purchases.
Q. Can I visit your studio in person ?
A. If you email for an appointment we should be able to arrange a date and time for you to visit. All are welcome at the yearly open studio at the end of November - please send your email address for inclusion on the mailing list.
Q. Do you do interior painting and decoration ?
A. Yes. Cressida is happy to undertake decorative interior schemes of all kinds and can produce murals, painted furniture, furnishing fabrics, rugs and lamps. Please check the relevant section under Bespoke for details.
